Tom Green on the Red
Carpet with Anna Chudoba attending Hollywood Covered Magazine's
Tribute to Robin Antin and the Pussy Cat
Dolls Fashion
Show
Tom Green's rude, lewd and
scatological humor made him a hit with teenage fans in the 1990s.
Green began as a stand-up comedian and radio host in Canada; The Tom Green Show, a pop-eyed comedy-variety series,
began on Canadian cable television in 1994. The show wound up on MTV
in 1999, establishing Green as an international guru of gross-out.
Green had a prominent cameo role in the film Road
Trip (2000) and directed and starred in the 2001 comedy Freddy Got Fingered. He married actress Drew
Barrymore on 7 July 2001, but filed
for divorce from her on 17 December of the same year. Green's
Web site says that his influences include David
Letterman and Tony
Hawk... Green is sometimes compared
to fellow MTV comedian Andy Dick, who also
appeared in Road Trip. Copyright 1998-2006 by
